I am hazy from the NyQuil I took last night, maybe it's the heat.

I am still having crap with Sallie Mae NetPay (Okay, so that form was for automatic debit, but somehow NetPay doesn't work, so I assumed I needed to fill out forms. Explain this to me pleeeeeeeeeease).

I feel like writing, but have no idea what to write. Whether to work on the novel chapter I've put aside, or do some reading on Issac Asimov. Particularly his atheism. Somehow, in that cracked out slash epic, I made him a rabbi. Is an atheist rabbi a contradiction in terms? Maybe more so around WWII, though I know that profession of belief isn't as big a deal in Judaism compared to Christianity. Still, I find myself wondering how this AU version will answer what I ask myself often: "If there is a God, why are people allowed to be really big jerks? Sure, free will accounts for jerk behavior, but I mean the really big jerkiness. The crimes that are never punished, the abused people never listened to, the collective callousness that lead to stuff like Kitty Genovese? Where was God during the Holocaust? More like, why did God let all those warning signs ignored and all that indifference happen? Why do people see it as punishment for rampant secularism when so many different types of folks died? It also seems to come down to the humans to clean up their messes and chastise the humans that make them; what is the idea of God needed for? Is God more an idea of progress, of things beyond here and now?"

I still need to study for a learner's permit. And an article that makes me happy.
