I stay home and sleep late. Sometimes I wish I could just call in late and not spend so much paid time off, but I am not sure I'd get out of the house in the first place. Projects left undone, like sending more resumes, making a coherant plotline for the Unknown Armies campaign and finishing the short story tug at me. However, I think it is best just to zone out.

Soft science nerd I am, I wonder if there is a distribution of left/right depending on majors.

Because it seems, ancedotally, while I know a lot of left-leaning linguistics majors, the law school attendees seem to be right-leaning. Neither of them seem shy of talking about it.

I mostly worry about academic funding more depend on bright, shiny projects that might attract private funding than *whisper it now* government funding for non-military-applying projects.
