Britney Spears will film the video for "Toxic", the 2nd single off of her new album 'In the Zone', next week in Paris. The video will be a high budget extravaganza directed by famed film director Tim Burton. This will mark his first music video. Burton has previous directed the remake of 'Planet of the Apes' starring Mark Wahlberg and 'Edward Scissorhands' starring Johnny Depp. The video is slated for early February.
In an interview with a Korean magazine, Britney talked about her new video to be shot in the near future...
"The video will be totally different from any video I've done. It has this freak show/circus vibe that I think fits with the song. Tim (Burton) is an amazing director and came up with an awesome treatment. I hope this one shocks ya'll"

I think the reason he is doing this is Burton lost a bet with Danny Elfman. If Elfman lost, he would have had to write a song with Jessica Simpson.
