taratemimaSo, bored, not wanting to think, I made a soundtrack and synopsis for the weird RPG back-story turned technical writing sample.
Jacob Magid thought that he succeeded in sheltering his daughters from his double life.
He thought that a troubled young relative's disappearance in a conflicted land had no bearing on his life.
He thought that his mother was a nice, normal woman who liked to go to libraries and write stories.
He thought that his nephew's involvement with an odd religious movement was not his business.
He thought his nephew's wife's fainting and odd habits are from stress.
He thought that he and an old flame can become just colleagues.
He thought that now, he can get married to a nice, normal woman and lead a quiet life.
When his fiancee saw a terrifying vision and his daughter found herself followed, he realized he was wrong.
Now he must find out the dark secrets and weird powers of his extensive, accomplished but tormented family. He must discover the real agenda of a secretive sect. He must thwart a dark prophecy foretold by a strange mirror. He must even tap into his own hidden power.
Most of all, he must bring his family together. If he doesn't, they will all fall apart.
