bikergeek and commiserate over work, politics, and some middle ground between absolutism and relativism (or at least picking your battles when it comes to other cultures, including your own). I may talk more about that.
I wander over to RHPC, hoping to see people I was supposed to meet there. They weren't there, so at midnight I bailed and went home.
I also got a book on Los Angeles for research. Mostly, I was looking for descriptions of neighborhoods. You know how each part of the greater Boston area has its stereotypes, income levels and ethnic mix? I am trying to find LA and San Francisco equilavents for West Roxbury, Medford, Somerville, Quincy and Malden, if it at all makes sense.
