When I talk of falling wages, long hours and a shrinking social net, I am not doing out of envy. I tend to envy people's talent, not wealth. Since I cannot have that, I rather have them not screwed over: you know, made to work long hours, not get much profits and not leave because, really, what are your options? Wal-Mart? Unfortunately, it is easy to do so.
