The letter said 'another candidate whose skills and accomplishments more closely match the requirements of the position.'
Why do I have the feeling that it is short for 'you seemed too goddamn ambitious to stick around at an administrative assistant position keeping track of lab equipment.'
And yet I am not educated enough for the jobs I eventually want.
What do these companies expect me to do?
