Walk around. spotting the winding of Harvard commencement ("My reindeer flies sideways/your reindeer flied upside down . . ."), then dinner with friend. I was feeling too drained from the heat to do much but talk, and, um, stuff.

Now, however, I cannot sleep. I have two medical appointments, and I need to be up and alive.
