I made progress on packing and changing the address, but I got less in my paycheck than I thought, and I was this close to falling asleep on the desk.

I got a call for a customer service job. It is in Boston, on one hand, and in the local formerly hippie alternative yuppie rag, so I might meet new people. However, for all my experience in customer service, I do not want to stay. I don't even want to write for said rag. So, I cannot say what my future plans would be except 'Go into your IT department.'

Now, a perfume review.

SNAKE OIL
By far, our most popular scent! Magnetic, mysterious, and exceedingly sexual in nature. A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla.

Wet: Ok, you can smell the vanilla, but there is something under the surface, some kind of wood and spice mixture.
On wrists: I actually enjoy vanilla blends, and have something called 'vanilla sandalwood' from another company. Snake Oil reminds me of it. However, the vanilla is not overwhelming in this. It is actually a lighter scent than I expected. It seems to twine with the other oils rather than overpower them.
An hour later: The vanilla stays, albeit in a gentler former, and I suspect some sandalwood was in there too.
Looking at the forum posting: Same impression I got, with someone noting that "Snake Oil morphs from Sultry and Sexy to Sweet, feminine and comforting." I like that part of it. It was femmy without overpoweringly so like Black Phoenix. "Vanilla and spice with a wonderful dryness a bit like smelling a wooden cask that has contained something wonderful..."--I'm quoting this because that is pretty close to what I thought, only it was more a jewelry box with a ghost of vanilla mixing with the ancient wood. Maybe I'm weird. No one fell at my feet when I wore it at work, but it was less embarrassing but still a mood-booster.
I'll wear this: When meeting new people and in unfamiliar settings.
