taratemimaThere is a certain ice cream thing in New York I haven't gone to in a while. Maybe because I no longer go with people I know driving. Perhaps I will go again when I get my driver's license.
I won't go to it this year, since I'm moving that weekend. Unfortunately, some folks are. Fortunately, my sister and her boyfriend may be stepping up to help, so that's good.
I wanted to get my stuff, go back to the apartment and shower, using the guest room until I get in the furniture. Unfortunately, after missing a bus and riding the train, I was too tired to go. Not too tired to write. I also showered. Weird that it feels more like staying over than sleeping in the same house again.
I'm also planning a food budget. That has always been the hardest for me to watch. I think when I restart my food, money, exercise, and revelations diary, I'll have a better handle on what I spend and what I should spend. I did list things I absolutely must have, and things that are, well, nice to eat. Plus, there is a list of house staples I can use and replace.
I know that there is DSL, and I have to check to see which hard drives have the right internal modem for it.
I had to assure myself that I'll get things done and it will be all over before I know it.
Oh, and I scheduled a technical assessment. How I'll get to Tewksbury, well, that's what I'll have to figure out.
