I missed my bellydancing, and it's for probably dumbest reason ever. I wore these loose linen pants that turned out to be too loose. Like, 'I'll actually need to wear a belt with these' loose. It was also colder than I thought (hey, yesterday was balmy). With cuffs getting undone and threatening to expose everything, I went home.

At least I got done on some small tasks, and tasks I thought would take more time. However, I feel confused about what to tackle, and fit in a christening, moves by the new housemate, and a party. I also feel like I'm trying to tackle everything at once. Fortunately, I found a pattern.

Ways to finance grad school

In order from least likely to most likely

  1. Defense Language Institute
  2. Singing career
  3. Scholarships
  4. Merchandise from on-line comic
  5. Comic books
  6. Novels
  7. Short stories
  8. Non-fiction books
  9. Non-fiction magazine articles (summarizing latest research and all)
  10. Linguistics-related entry-level job
  11. Stocks
  12. College job
  13. High yield savings account from a percentage of present work income

I feel like I'm throwing myself at all options at once. First edit comic, then apply to jobs,
then write notes for novel, and then look at budget to see if I can open that savings account. What am I doing to myself?

Maybe I'll go down each, break down what is needed, see what I have, do the rest, check my progress and take note of obstacles. For one, one of my novels have a fat purple folder full of drafts. Not sure how to sort through them all.
