Went to the Noise 20th last, but was too tired to stay for Count Zero, though Peter Moore and Bleu did do a song about September 11. Stayed downstairs mostly, but they were all good. All the Queen's Men had an guitar wail/metallic keyboard sound with soaring alto vocals. The Majestic Din Society (which is a whole bunch of musicians) went through Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, obviously having a lot of fun (they even did the Rutles' "Cheese and Onions").

I did get momentarily depressed enough to wander to the stairs, waiting to talk to Arik, but that was not the fault of the performers. I could have been more into Bleu in a better mood, I guess. Nevertheless, he sang the hell out of the songs.

Strings and bits of songs came out in my head, independent of what is actually on stage, "echo," "I will," "holding a burning cloth." They play Killing Joke and Jane's Addiction in between songs, which brought me back.

This ought to be in the b0st0n community, but there are way too much personal stuff.
