1 Last night, I dreamed I was shopping for furniture.
2 Favorite tonics are Diet Dr Pepper and Diet Vanilla Coke
3 I used to watch a lot of television and read a lot as a kid; now I use the Internet and read a lot.
4 I envy people with red hair. Sort of Anne Shirley in reverse, having real dark hair and wanting red hair.
5 I only dyed my hair once, though, and it was purple.
6 First role-playing game I did was Vampire: The Masquerade
7 First book I fell in love with was The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
8 My social skills need some work. I sometimes interrupt conversations and fixate on one topic of my interest.
9 My vocabulary is a mixture of regionalisms, archaic words and turn of the twenty-first slang.
10 However, I used to be obsessed with learning new, complicated words.
11 I am thinking of reading Foucault.
12 My interest in voice recognition started with a co-op at Kurzweil AI.
13 I see more things in common between cultures than differences, though I want differences valued too.
14 Everytime I think of adopting some sort of elitist philosophy, I remember that there are some places I would look real foolish, and that no matter how smart, accomplished or whatever standard you use, we all end up dead.
15 The part of neuroscience I am interested in is language production and state-based learning.
16 Altered states of consciousness are neat too.
17 I only have done alcohol and nitrous, though.
18 I am synthaestic, though, mostly with music and food. Reading an especially rich and descriptive passage makes my head tingle too.
19 Once I had a past life regression. Apparently I was a blond Edgar Cayce-type healer in Nazi Germany, trying to hide the fact some of my relatives were Jewish. I have no idea whether I am full of baloney, but there was an astrologer popular during that time who was Jewish, I believe.
20 When I was a kid, I would watch any Dracula/vampire movies on TV, reenact them with my Barbie dolls, and draw pictures of people lying in their graves.
21 At the same time, I went to church every Sunday, joined a Rosary group in my neighborhood and pray a lot.
22 Sometimes I thought of the nature of tempation, or rather can something that seems right or fun be a bad idea. I still don't have the answer.
23 I am still sometimes afraid of the dark.
24 I love logic puzzles.
25 I was ostracized in elementary school, tormented in middle school and blessedly ignored in high school.
26 I draw sometimes, but I tend to draw the same things, sad-looking women, squiggles and eyes.
27 The first tape I bought myself was Ritual de lo Habitual.
28 Sometimes clothes irritate me.
29 I walk on my toes when barefoot.
30 My favorite book as a kid was Little Women.
31 I have lots of unfinished novels and one unfinished play somewhere.
32 I have lots of unread books.
33 I sometimes get notions to draw or take pictures.
34 I had wanted to be good at web design, but I am too utilitarian and lazy to do that. I mainly learned HTML to get my writing up there, anyway.
35 That doesn't mean I don't envy people good at.
36 Intense people draw me, even when they have no interest in me.
37 Favorite origins for names are Gaelic, Hebrew and Arabic.
38 I grew up on welfare. I remember hating it because money was always so tight, so I wanted to go to collegea and work my own job.
39 I can either be a recluse or want to be around a person all the time.
40 I swear a little too much in writing.
41 I began to understand that emotions had a physical component at a late age.
42 I read at age 3.
43 I won second place at an art contest but someone stole the certificate.
44 My first crush was a 23-year-old Eastern Nazrene student named Andrew Swenson.
45 I sometimes wonder if converting will make life even harder with my mom's relatives and if I really want that.
