48. I was raised Catholic, went from agnostic to a very subjective, personal monotheism (you don't have to believe it). I am wondering whether or not to convert to Judaism. Have some experience with different occult systems, but not the focus, motivation or intent.
49. I am attracted yet frightened by activists. I am never sure if they or I will adopt a 'ends justifying the means' attitude and forget the end.
50. I am trying to make fun of people whose ideas I don't like less.
51 I probably wouldn't want to be friends with far-far left or far-far right folks (along with true racists, anti-Semites, sexists and homophobes, and I try to be careful in whom I call that). I can deal well with all points in between, though.
52 I define stupidity as not including empirical and subjective data into your opinions.
53 I am a little too interested in the psychology of personality, especially when it comes to myself.
54 I am having trouble going to sleep and sometimes wake up in the middle of the night. Which reminds me, get Saint John's Wort.
55 If I could travel to any period in time, I'd pick the 1920s.
56 If I was an animal, I'd be human. :)
57 I hated visiting my stepfather in prison or hospital. Always so cold and gray, and he'd be so belligerent from over-medication and ill treatment from staff. Everyone visiting would always leave unhappy.
58 I never had anyone I really deeply cared about die. I barely knew my grandfather, and only regret I never learned Gaelic from him. I was a twisted sort of happy when my stepfather died. I'm sorry.
59 I've never been a theater geek, but being a literature geek, I can grab plays and read them. Not to mention I love Gilbert and Sullivan and 'Hair.'
60 Cities I want to visit: Berlin, Prague, Dublin, Paris, London, Tel Aviv, Toyko, Wellington, Sydney, Montreal, Cairo, Marrakesh, Reykjavik.
61 I have a primary in Wisconsin, some people I know locally. Lately, I've been anti-social, and should fix that.
62 Song going through my head is "Ballad of the Solider's Wife" covered by PJ Harvey
63 I don't know my blood type.
64 I hate squash.
65 I love broccoli.
66 I don't feel comfortable writing rhymning poetry, though I did a lot of it when I was a child. I guess it feels like I am trying to translate in another language.
67 I took ten years of Spanish, can read it with a dictionary on my side, but cannot understand Telemundo.
68 The one time I was in the hospital was to stitch my left big toe, cut after I fell jumping on the bed. See, Mom was right. :)

70 I was in Gifted and Talented programs when I was younger, and took Honors English until 12th grade. I do make mistakes, though.
71 My MO for school projects when I was a kid was sheer audacity over accuracy.

81 I've given up thinking I am an individualist. I am just as subjected to societial pressures as any human, I just try to consider them more.

83 I can be overly sensitive to social cues and oblivious at the same time.
84 I think I am not often at parties because of it.
85 I miss Bedlam. I miss grabbing books of poems I've written or read. I miss Exquisite Corpse. I'm not sure if I should do something like that at my house, though.
86 I used to wear contacts, then I lost them. My mom's Christmas gift is getting me another pair after I get my eyes examined.
87 I feel closest to the Transcendentalists, but feel the presence of a Cosmic Darkness as well as a Cosmic Light.
88 I sometimes find myself acting like the Comic Book Guy.
89 I write right-handed, can switch hands for just about everything else, but sew left-handed.
90 I would like to learn to play drums. I took piano lessons at a late age, but do better in theory rather than practice.
91 I am not sure what 'the right thing' sometimes.
92 My favorite colors are purple, blue, red, white and black.
93 I'm the oldest in my family.
94 I am not sure what will happen when I am thirty, but I am hoping I started my 401k by then.
95 Being a genre novelist seems to conflict with being an academic, or something like that, so I am not sure whether to concentrate on technical stuff and write, or concentrate on shoring up a mediocre school record with experience in my department.
96 I do, however, love the process of library research.
97 I overuse the word 'fangirlishness.' I am not certain if there is a more concise version of the word ('fangirlness?')
98 I like ice cream flavored like alcohol.
99 I am mildly interested in the fandoms that people I know are interested in, and can get the references, but I have only strong attachments to bands.
