How's this for a meme?
Mar. 18th, 2003 06:12 pmI wish that Bush would stop smoking crack.
Link to me if you agree.
Okay, maybe that is not the most mature response to the whole 48 hours thing. Nor is wondering if Saddam just needs to make up with Satan and be the bottom for a change. Nor is imagining Bush whining "I want a pony, I want a party." Nor is singing Edith Piaf.
"Noooooooon je ne regrette rien . . ."
I attended a megilla reading. I was the eleventh person there, the only woman and the second youngest. I felt like John Kerry in reverse. Of course, I wonder if he even *knew* about his ancestry, or figured some of the other counted more than one. I don't know, I haven't paid much attention, wondering why that is even an issue.
I do want to link to some of youse commentary. If only because you are more coherant than I am. Like the bit about 'when diplomacy fails' in some network newscast I managed not to see. I wouldn't call it so much diplomacy as someone doing a song and dance and getting interrupted by a polka concert.
I'm going to get in trouble for this.
