Things I saw while trying to get out of the snow

1. A shop specializing in chocolate-dipped things: fruit, pastries, and even pretzels and potato chips (I smell marketing idea!)
   
2. Fred Astaire Dance School competition and the attending vendors, with sparkling rhinestone jewelry in many colors and instruction videos. Very Strictly Ballroom
   
3. A finger food get-together for students meeting with faculty. Mmmmmmmm, honey BBQ wings and blue cheese dressing. Mango slices, all acidic and perfumy, and yet mild and sweet. Mini cheesecakes. Vegatables.
