I miss my plane on the 3rd, stay at a hotel in LA, get on the plane, stay at a hotel in Providence, get on the bus, get on the train, and come home to an empty house, a bag of laundry, a job, questions about how to prepare for the future, and the sense that I am much different than I was before. I realized I am three months away from my 25th birthday, and no idea where I am going. I am not as sure I was before that I was going to work in natural language processing, go back for my masters, and do research until I am 55 and want to do free-lance writing again, in case I want to go out to eat on my retirement income. I am young, Arik always tells me, young and open to new experiences, open to learning new things. Sivan thinks I have come farther than he has, done more than he could. I don't know. I don't know what I want to do next.
