Jan. 26th, 2002 11:30 amSo, in my dream, my family and I were in a row behind the stage watching Peter Gabriel, or rather some big star-studded thing, with Phil Collins, Wycelf Jean and the Roots. Folks, I do not know how I come up with such a line-up. During "Intruder," he gets kidnapped by two men in a speeding orange car. I thought it was part of the stage show, until we were kidnapped by the same people, and oh, Peter's mom. They were threatening and sadistic, like a Guy Ritchie character crossed with Satan. Peter's mom was terrified, Peter was catatonic, and my mom, my brother and me were wondering what the hell next.
We were taken to a small two-story wooden house. I put my hand on Peter's chest and told him that it will be okay. One of the kidnappers grabbed that hand and twisted it, and it hurt. "Leave him alone, we got our own plans." We were left alone, but Peter and his mom were forced inside. I heard screams (his), laughter (his?) and I was the only one wondering how to get him out.
Just then, the Roots were walking by, following the orange car. I told them Peter was trapped in that house. Apparently, Collins and Paul McCartney followed that car too.
Everyone, family members and musicial guests were in the house, deciding where to look, detaining the two kidnappers (I think some concert security were there). I headed to the attic, where I swore I heard the screaming coming from. While looking for some clue, I found a warm leg in fishnet with a black ballet slipper, and saw a hanging body. "Somebody help me, I found a body!" A tall man helps it down, and I see it's a plastic leg and a doll in fishnet with a ringing phone. "This is Billy Dare." I threw the phone, worrying somehow they will start believing we can't find Peter.
It just started an cranky day where I was yelled at for being on-line when Mom came in, for not respecting Catherine's little diary and for not getting a drink fast enough for those oral strips she put in her mouth.
