Can't you people fucking grow up?
Mar. 23rd, 2002 02:21 pmSo, I was looking at the wonderful meme page to feed my quiz addiction, though I no longer post the results. Apparently, with 111 links, a web page dedicated to hating some girl because she called the page designer fat. No, I am not posting the link, find it your damn selves.
It doesn't make anyone look good, not the page designer for having cow jokes and crotch shots from rotten.com, not the girl posing in bad imitations of 'sexy' pictures. I have sexuality, I sometimes think I am attractive, but people sometimes look stupid when giving the same lame 'sexy' looks and the same 'sexy poses' in underwear, sometimes naked. Or should I say 'sexxxxxy' and 'nekkid?'
Hell, even with all these 'adult' piccies, these two's mental ages are at least 8.
Update: These two geniuses have LJ accounts, and they're about 19-20 years old. I suppose that explains it. Feh.
Gods, and I was about to talk about konking out at a good-bye party, not feeling very close to the party guests talking about cell phones, weddings and relationships, not finding people who I trust *hell, one guest suddenly stopped seeing me when I was 19 after finding out my age*. Then I see these emotional brats, and suddenly, I feel like bloody Gandalf compared to them.
Speaking of Gandalf, some blowhard on CCN was evaluating the political leanings of various Oscar movies, concluding Lord of the Rings is very right-wing. Strangely enough, Saruman reminds me of certain characters in the Republican Party, but I digress. The Oscars, now there is another topic where people need to grow up. Apparently, the Drudge Report 'revealed' that John Nash was gay and anti-Semitic. Never mind most of his nastier ramblings about Jewish people were at the height of his delusions (what does that say about Paul Weyrich and Pat Buchanan, kids?) according to Sylvia Nassar. I can't say much about the bust in a LA rest room, or the tales of close relationship with men, I do know emotional/sexual attachment are on a continuum. In other words, he could or could not be bisexual, and the only one who would give a damn is Drudge and Fox Studios, who, oh wow, has a movie considered for an Oscar (Moulin Rouge).
