Sharon and Arafat have a very firm grip on a small gold ring, with a cross section of Palestinean society on Arafat's coat, a cross section of Israeli society on Sharon's jacket. So absorbed in fighting for it, they don't see they are close to falling over the edge of a volcano. So folks push forward, some push back.
The caption: " . . .and in darkness bind them."
That's all I have to say about recent events.
