One True Clique--when a member of a religion or at least some spiritual practice assumes that their way is the only way to do it. At best, you get into fruitless arguments; worst, they will kill you in some form or another, even if you are part of their spiritual practice.

They must hate me in some form: a bisexual, childfree, left-leaning, mystic, frustrated, broke, fat bottom and writer.

Fuck all of them if I don't belong to their clique.

Journalists not knowing much about history. However, I would like to point out, uh, there is sexism within Judaism and Christianity (they have been steadily getting better). No, this clash between those who try to address what we know about humanity and the world and those who would like to squish only certain parts of humanity into their own concepts, killing the dissenting in the process. I suspect the two people he talked to were trying to avoid that, but wind up, I wouldn't say excusing, but not really discussing another manifestation of the One True Clique.

The guy who wrote was associated with Aish HaTorah. I have this problem with Aish HaTorah, ever since they printed this weird little article . . .you might want to check it out yourself.
