Reviewing the big list I did in March
Jul. 30th, 2003 07:00 pmWhat I did:
Get new eyeglasses
Fix my teeth
What I am working on:
Travel to Baltimore and Chicago, maybe Los Angeles (After I, um, pay bills)
Wrap Les Clowns de la Mort stories (Third story is done, and I think I will keep it to four stories, unless people really want to see what happens at the liberation of Paris).
Wrap the novel, have some people read it, if not published.
Get some help with my depression (I am seeing a therapist, but I still need to find group therapy and consider anti-depressants).
Be more tolerant with and kinder to family (At least I try, I have my short-tempered moments).
I still need to make covers for my rough demo. Afterwards, make copies and see if I should perform.
What I still need to do:
Take regular exercise classes
Revise comic book script, get illustrator, get a website
Actually do more work on this conversion thing, but first find way to tell mother and grandmother.
Read more about the rest of the world, since I am not going to be able to actually see it.
Learn some more bits of other languages.
Dance more.

A vignette about Meg and Jacob
Jul. 30th, 2003 07:38 pmThis is one small part of a whole world I made up, where teenagers in early 80s Massachusetts suburbia interact with fairies of myth and grow up with them. Over time, they find that their worlds are more closely linked than they think.
Here's about two of them, Jacob Bridges, a band geek and Meg Dunsmuir, a part fey enforcer whose otherwise a normal, slightly naive teenage girl.
