taratemimaReally, it was a joy to see "The Men who Turned America into a Non-Christian Nation" as a header in the midst of spam that assumes that I have a small penis and impotence problems. I was hoping to see people I might root for.
Unfortunately you had to condemn 'Christian Zionists.' I tend to not like these guys. I count them as the scary wing of the radical religious right, and I wonder why the fuck the ADL is even talking to them when some of the other branches of the RRR object to classes about the Holocaust because it makes Christians look bad. Here I am, trying to figure out the whole Israel/Palestine thing for myself, looking for someone to find some viable solution and their solution is "We'll have a big nuclear war and Jesus will save us and the Jewish folks that bow to him." Er, no.
But that darn 'Zionism = racism' canard comes up, with nice little quote from Paul about neither Jew nor Greek, ignoring the bits where he does diss Jewish Christians hard. Never mind the massive wave of fucking rightfully scared people that came around World War II. You're going to have to explain to me why a homeland for Jewish people of many different nationalities and races (along with different Arab groups who stuck around for one reason or another) is based on a doctrine of superiority of races while any nationalist movement that posulates one monoculture is not troublesome.
Like, you know, the idea that America is a Christian nation.
Zionism is not racism. You can have your own disagreements with the events that lead to Israel's founding and the wars after, I can dig it. However, decrying one form of nationalism while boosting another is hypocrisy.
And don't think I'm going to 'unsubscribe' considering that will just get me more of your confused bullshit.

On other notes, I browsed for summer work clothes and got stamps. I need more sleep; what was I thinking waiting at one train stop for a cab that took thirty minutes to arrive? Then reading before bed at 12:30? Five hours of sleep? WTF?
