I got a gift certificate for volunteering to do secondary payer claims and apparently, doing well. I sm wondering if I should check back with the folks at Cymfony tomorrow or Thursday.

I wrote an editorial for the Boston Metro ('for those too retah-ded to read the Herald'). Let's see if they accept it. It is just a general 'winter holidays = yay! pushing Merry Christmas = boo!' editorial. It may be stupid, but it could be worse, considering the letters section. It had someone who thought that prisons ought to have organized fights everyday and rabid animals attack them at night. Um, wow, whatever happened to punishment fitting the crime? Oh, and once in a while, courts has this weird thing of convicting innocent people who didn't do the crime. And news flash--sooner or later, convicts become ex-cons. And would you rather them be uneducated, violent and no other skills other than criminal enterprises? Me neither; living with one with his own problems was quite enough. I don't see that changing unless we either have have serious updating of the idea of 'prison' or bring the gulags to the US and keep them all there forever, from the shoplifter to the murderer.

Oh, right . . .

It is my youngest sister's birthday, and I gave her small gifts today (chocolate pretzels and a pin) and the big gift on Christmas. I wrote nothing again.

Holiday party tomorrow. I ought to wrap my presents. Oh well, the cards are mailed out. Not just a voice demo I made for someone. Grand.
