thoughts from a party
Jan. 17th, 2005 12:42 pmI've known one person for 10 years and another for 8.
Someone who had a brother who was high-functioning autistic with some violent episodes said that I came across as someone who had some social skills deficits, but not necessarily on the spectrum. Huh.
Apparently, departments focusing on ADA sometimes get odd callers. One person thought that survivors of 9/11 were being discriminated against because no one stands up for them at sports events, but they stand up for people in the armed forces. The person taking the call pointed out that people in the armed forces are as likely to have PTSD as survivors of 9/11, so you cannot really prove discrimination based on that.
Call of Cthluhu sourcebooks are the wrong thing to read before bedtime.
Cadbury is good chocolate. One person's reaction to homemade cheesecake on a date was "I would have put out anyway, but this just makes the decision easier."
