Lo-lo-londonium
Jul. 8th, 2005 06:06 pmI have to be honest.
Even with the "OMG high alert on transit," my main worry was dying from blood loss from wisdom teeth extraction, not being blown up in a subway tunnel.
If I had been in London, I'd probably duck and cover. No heroics for me. That said, I hope the UK folks are well, although the ones I know are far, far from London.
I was self-pitying enough that I wish my mom wasn't so scared of driving into Copley Square to drive me home. Gee Mom, you'd think you'd over-react more to the threat hanging over subways (which my sister felt the need to tell me) than your own fear of Boston traffic. Again, self-pity. I got ice cream when my tastebuds return, anyway.
Now, if you excuse me, the Valium is kicking in.
