1) It's been too long since I studied linguistics in detail. I think I forgot how to diagram a sentence, figure out how to analyze the syntax of a clause, any semantics work, or anything like that. I am always afraid it will show when I go on interviews for a job in my major.
2) I'm afraid that people see me as just another data entry person. Plus, I hate to say it, I wonder if I had smaller breasts (and a smaller body in general), interviewers will take me seriously.
3) My work/life balance has been out of whack, and has been for a long time. That is, even with free time on Friday, I waste it or it fills up. I either schedule every minute with things to do, trying to estimate time to do them, and get bewildered by the amount of work needed. Or, I make a list, and still waste time. Oh boy, that would be great for a job.
4) Someone suggested using my Problem Application Resolution list to make a new resume. However, I have no idea if I will be giving enough information about applications and if the resolution will be informative enough. Advice about resumes is to mention numbers, as large as possible. I don't remember every number of every company and work I did.
5) As long as I am appreciated and I get to learn stuff, even stuff I never think I will be interested in or use again, I will do good work. That's a good trait, right?
6) Since Kinkos lost my prints of articles, I am feel discouraged about ever getting to finish the project. I like to scribble and take notes on dead trees, especially on article prints. Since I am trying not to spend too much, I cannot just make more copies.
7) A friend of mine and I made a mutual pact to submit our best writings. Yeah, and I'll need to print it, and scribble, and read over my list of places to submit short stories, and see which ones are still printing. Gaaaaaaaaah.
8) I said that I would edit a sample for a comic club, and my illustrator and I are discussing big changes to the story. However, I need actually write all of that.
