Obviously, I should not get firearms. I don't care what youse do, but I should not get them.
Between the bombings in Jerusalem and discussion of said bombings, where it seems that everyone has an opinion and everyone is fucking wrong in some way, it made my afternoon sour. I guess I personalize this to an extent; one of the Israeli paramedics in a photo in the Metro reminds me of someone I knew at UMass, but a shot of some Palestinian kids in a magazine reminded me of some kids my youngest sister goes to school with. I also connect Eric Rudolph and the interviews with some folks that say "Oh bombing is terrible but gays and abortionists are evil," and I wonder how many otherwise nice Palestinian people think that way only with the words changed. However, I am not about to declare the death of all white middle-aged guys because of Rudolph. You can breathe easy there, folks. :)
Maybe I will talk about kerfuffles in other countries. Hey, did you know England is considering banning kosher and halal meat? WTF? They don't have mad cow disease with that.
At least I applied for a loan and finished part of my novel. That's one thing accomplished. Now I need to accomplish more.
At least someone discovered a new community because of me.
