taratemimaSomeone mentions Doctress Neutopia and I remember gawking at her rants. I start googling and find a bunch of essays back in the day people really thought that widespread use of the Internet was going to change the world.
It changed my world, anyway.
I also had a weird crush on this guy. I laugh about it now, but somehow, my first Arisia, he seemed interesting, he let me listen to gamelan music and I kissed him.
I can hear y'all now. "Eeeeeeewwww, you kissed RMS!"
He wasn't bad.
When I am older, I am going to be like, "Hey, remember when fandom_wank was on livejournal?"
