Today is good news, bad news.

Bad news is I fell on the parking lot from a snow bank and scrapped my hand. Plus, the computer system is down.

Good news? I left early. Had to use time off, but what was I going to do? Clean?

Everything is making me unhappy today. Or at least it felt like it.

I am nostalgic for strange things.

Someone mentions Doctress Neutopia and I remember gawking at her rants. I start googling and find a bunch of essays back in the day people really thought that widespread use of the Internet was going to change the world.

It changed my world, anyway.

I also had a weird crush on this guy. I laugh about it now, but somehow, my first Arisia, he seemed interesting, he let me listen to gamelan music and I kissed him.

I can hear y'all now. "Eeeeeeewwww, you kissed RMS!"

He wasn't bad.

When I am older, I am going to be like, "Hey, remember when fandom_wank was on livejournal?"
