Dear Dan Savage,

Most of the health problems attributed to 'obesity' could also be attributed to yo-yo dieting, lack of exercise, lack of medical care and doctors concluding "Well, he was a fat bastard when he died, he must have died because he was a fat bastard." Hysterical warnings about how fat can kill aren't likely inflict bulima and anorexia, but it is likely to inflict, hey, more yo-yo dieting *cough* Atkins *cough*. This makes it hard for the rest of us fat bastard trying to change life-long habits. This makes it hard on everyone who does not want to go on stupid, stupid fads and gain back weight already lost or give up when things aren't changing fast enough.

That said, low-rise jeans are fucking ugly on everyone. Sorry, but plumber's butt is not sexy. Why does the ugliest excuses for fashion just happen to come in size 0?

PS, Not all anorexia-related deaths are listed as anorexia. Of course, by my earlier logic, there could be some folks saying "well, she was really skinny when she died, so it must be anorexia-related." Then again, it is harder to argue that starvation isn't bad, although I sure some people tried.

On another note, I took stock of my physical activity this week. I haven't done as much walking as I wanted or slept as regularly as I should because I spent nights waiting for mail back from the people I asked for UA campaign that never was feedback. For some reason, when I finish a project, I am up awake, waiting for someone to give me some word back. That makes me too tired to move around and do stuff like walk that bridge to Weymouth when I miss the bus. So, when it happens, I wait around for half an hour like a moron. With a full eight hours of sleep every night, I will be energetic to get around, which will lead to me moving more, and will make me more energetic, etc.

Not that it happened today. It was such a nice day, that I, er, slept for three hours. I feel annoyed that I didn't take advantage of my Friday afternoon more, but my eyes were throbbing.
