Sometimes, dates will end with a Quake partner, a new best friend, a job contact or at least a subject for angry poetry. Hey, maybe when Geek Boy gets married to someone else and she's expecting, he can ask Geek Girl for children's book recommendations.
You can wish for couples' happiness. They might not get it, but it is the thought that counts.
You assume everyone will be, must be miserable as you are. Yeah, I was like that too. I graduated high school, though.
