I put my hands where my mouth is. OK, that sounds weird, I volunteered for National Gay and Lesbian Task Force for the coming vote on that anti-gay marriage amendment. I got pizza. However, I am not certain when I will work overtime: not this week and not next week, with the mini-vacation. At the very least, I figured if I keep to a strict spending budget, I can save up my money for one month of rent and pay off credit cards in six months. Maybe. After that, I can save up two more months of rent in 8 months.
The key is watching the spending.
