Oct. 10th, 2004 09:24 pmWhat I did:
Outlined stories.
Dealed with impacted wisdom tooth hurting worst than earlier.
I still need to do phone post and the tape dubbing. I also need to read the books for Jeopardy. I had a brief moment I considered learning Arabic. Then I wanted to learn other languages. Then I looked at the prices for classes locally, and wondered if I will be looked upon as weird for ordering CD-ROMs for languages at work. I got overwhelmed and wondered if my current 'QA analyst or tech writer' ambition is good or not.
I felt kinda lonely. Not much people on the messangers--no place to go and no one to see. I've broke my own rule about posting non-fannish/non-f_w snark in my fandom journal. I guess my big problem is that it seems that media fans assume that politics and science fiction/fantasy are not related. Now, I am not for being nasty to others for their beliefs, although I can disagree vehemently to them. They are humans, not abstractions or words on the screen. I try to remember that.
Now fandom and popslash is not good, but that is coming from someone whose big AU idea is Occupied Paris.
