bikergeek had time this afternoon to help me move the smaller (and that is a relative term, really) boxes. It went better than I thought. He did go a roundabout way back to my place after lunch because I was too wimpy to contradict the GPS.
Now, we are talking how to transport furniture and bigger boxes next weekend. He talked of renting a truck, and I'll see if my mom's boyfriend is OK to help move and drive, but we're going to need more people.
Next time, I won't want to be in a new place so quick that I forget to ask people for help until near the last minute.
I'm having iced tea and debating when to use the upstairs bed as a temporary sleeping place. I also got books to unpack and arrange on my own bookcase. Of course, I'll need another one. Ouch, matching bruises on inner arms!
