Despite a limboish round of errands that took far too long, I am having a good New Years Night.

Now, things that I managed to do this year. I am working on what I want to do this year.

# Got in touch with alumni working in BCBS, Comverse, Genzyme, Simmons College, Scansoft and MIT and figured out what it will take to apply to these companies.
# Paid off and cancelled the Platinum card.
# Paid off the Gold card and on my way to making on-time payments.
# Clarified my plans for graduate school. Now deciding on getting a job in linguistics. Barring that, working on applying to a speech language pathology masters with a clinical/research basis. Have idea about graduate courses to prepare for the degree, so I can also improve my grades and my chances of getting into grad school. May use A+ or ASHA certification to pay my way through a PhD.

# Completed character sheets for RPG. Sent mail to person in charge of gaming with my game idea.
# Nailing down times when people are free.
# Made a consultation with American Express to talk about my financial goals. However, she said she couldn't help me with my goals. I may need someone more experienced with establishing a cushion and setting up a living will.
