Fresh fruit in a bowl makes me feel better and I should have more of it. Same with spinach.

A memorial service was held for a co-worker's son. Some of the others took time off and attended it. I decided not:

1) I did not know her that well, though I feel for her (he was a fairly young man and died in a motorcycle accident)

2) I figured someone should stay and work.

3) I did not have a car.

Nevertheless, I wondered if the co-workers thought I was a rotten person. Judging by conversations, I was wrong.

However, just after I sent in my resume, the person hiring told me there was a hiring freeze. Funny, I assumed that when there is an internal job posting, there is a job. So, I don't know what to do now. Funny thing, I was working on pros and cons of different career paths.

I'm also examining what I think people expect from a relationship. I am thinking of having that as a survey of a sort, if anyone is curious.

My illustrator's friend is suggesting changes to the comic book. Some I like and want to use right away. Some are really making me want to clutch my precious, precious characters and yell "You no touchy!" However, he says as they are now, they aren't really there. They help the characters, but that's it. I know I have to think of the reader here, who doesn't have clue one of the fantastic back story I built around them. For one thing, we are hinting at a possible OT3 rather than saying it out front. Hypothetical On-line Comic Reader wants excitement, drama, suspense, explosions, boobies, well you can't please everybody. I have no idea if I can come up with better ideas. I just know that I don't want certain characters to be 1) evil or 2) made of plants.
