Dear Mr. Fry:
First off, I never read or plan to see The Da Vinci Code. My first thought on it was, "Huh. Someone decided to make a historical fiction tale out of Holy Blood, Holy Grail." My inner 15-year-old, the one who ran after any heresy-promoting, sure-to-horrify-her-confirmation-teachers occult conspiracy theory she could find, was amused at the howling of the religious, but nothing more. People still haven't made a movie on the premise that early Christianity was a shroom-based cult, though. I assumed your judgment was merely theological and historical.
After reading excerpts quoted in this, and sporfling at the historical inaccuracies quoted in this quiz, I will never doubt your literary judgment again. Please make me a book list so I will never read coddleswop (oh OK, codswallop, but I like how I mutated it) again.
