Today I demonstrate my cluelessness
Jul. 16th, 2006 08:42 pmI didn't check a friend's LJ, and went to his house to meet for his RPG. When I get there, and see the car gone, I remember that bit about a funeral, and get the sick feeling in my stomach. I left messages on his phone--what was I thinking? I thought I read everything on my friends page, but I may have missed a post. So, since there were no buses running that route, I walked back to the train station. At least I got a chance to practice some answers for stock interview questions and ate a red snapper sandwich. Had I put two and two together before taking off, though, I would have had an easier time.
Last night, I also went to a fashion show of vintage dresses. Had I found the listing for ArtBeat, I would have enjoyed it more. But then again, it was fun to dance afterwards, and I looked less of a dork than I thought.
I also did not know that the Fairy Shop on Newbury Street had Tim Burton sketches. Now I do.
I got V for Vendetta and Patrick Wolf as rewards for completing tasks. I'm not looking forward to work. Not at all. Not since I was shooed off trying to ask a question during a really tense conference call.
